There are different ways you can promote diversity, equality & inclusion in your environment. Depending on the type of company or organization, we offer our clients specially tailored diversity assessments, Diversity Strategy Development and training opportunities to their needs. With our services, we create spaces that promote mutual understanding, knowledge transfer, and togetherness.

Our training opportunities range from a 60-minute keynotes to full-day workshops and can be delivered both in person and online. All services are generally available in German and English.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

What is the story behind these big words? What are the basics for understanding diversity issues in today's society? This basic introductory module explains what stands behind the concept of "DEI" (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) and what added value we can derive from it as individuals and companies.

 

Sexual & Gender Diversity: The Basics

What is behind the acronym LGBTQIA+? This unit specifically addresses sexual and gender diversity. After an overview of relevant terms that affect the lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, inter and asexual communities, it also addresses societal barriers that queer people may encounter (especially in workplaces), and how to overcome them.

Additional advanced modules on LGBTQIA+ Basics
for the fields of: HR, Tourism, Healthcare, Care, (Psychosocial) Counseling, Sports, Education, Research, Media. These advanced modules deal in depth with aspects related to the respective field.

 

Understanding Gender Diversity & How to Become a Trans Ally 

Trans? Non-binary? Intersex? And which is correct: with or without an *asterisk*? Besides relevant terms, the difference between trans and intersex will be explained. Through a short excursion into the respective legal framework concerning both communities, an overview will be provided of the strictly regulated conditions in which gender diverse people (have to) live in Germany (and beyond) and which barriers and discrimination this causes them in everyday life. Through processes of self-reflection and practical exercises, the participants will learn how to approach trans and inter people in a professional and respectful way in their everyday (professional) life.

Inclusive Language - A Guide to Inclusive Communication

Language is one of the most valuable, but also most influential cultural assets - because it creates reality. The constant change in society is also reflected in our use of language, and it may create some obstacles. 

In this unit the different forms of gender inclusive language will be explained, including the use of pronouns (incl. neo pronouns, such as xier/xiem; they/them; etc.) are addressed in an understandable manner. Through practical examples, tools are provided on how to create an inclusive and integrative environment through communication. 

 

Building Resistance is Building Resilience - Self-Care Strategies for Queer Employees

LGBTQIA+ workers* repeatedly encounter obstacles in their professional lives and exclusion in society. Statistically, the LGBTQIA+ community is more likely to face harassment and discrimination in the workplace and this seminar empowers participants to resist such experiences. Through resource activation, participants are guided to develop self-care strategies that empower them in their individuality and enable them to deal with negative experiences.
